Wireless extenders and bridges

What's the difference: WiFi Booster, Repeater or Extender?

A WiFi repeater or extender is used to extend the coverage area of your WiFi network. It works by receiving your existing WiFi signal, amplifying it, and then transmitting the amplified signal. With a WiFi repeater, you can effectively double the coverage area of your WiFi network - reaching far into the corners of your home or office, different floors, or even extending coverage to your garden.

A wireless bridge is a type of network device that enables a wireless connection between two different segments of a local area network (LAN). Wireless bridges use radio signals in the microwave or laser spectrum to provide fixed wireless access.
